 AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
First of all it doesn't cost you anything. You get it with your website design purchase. Very simply it's website maintenance for the entire year. In short, we not only create and post your website on the Internet. We make your basic changes and edits all year long at no additional cost to you. This package alone could save you hundreds of dollars a year. Most people have a website built and finished and done and a month or so down the road they start finding things on other websites that they want to add. Things that they may not have thought about on their original design. Maybe they want to add a photo of the interior of their business, a Google Map to help customers find the place, add some products for sale that they did not carry when the website was started and any of dozens and dozens of other ideas that they would like to add to their website.

DO OTHER WEBSITE DESIGN COMPANIES OFFER FREE MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS
 Absolutely not, and here's why. There is really no money to be made accommodating minor changes and edits all year long. Most website designers charge outrageous rates for such changes. The problem is that they have lots of employees including sales people, operators, receptionists, the actual designers and code writers, janitors and that's just the start. Beyond that they often have high overhead, advertising and a lot of other costs that have to come out of the profit they make designing websites. That means they have to spend much more time designing websites for big buck and little or no time doing little fixes and minor additions.

WE WORK OUT OF OUR HOME AND HAVE ALMOST ZERO OVERHEAD
At the Web Page Mechanic I work out of my home. There's no additional overhead. I am the salesman. I am the designer (my wife helps on some of the designs). I am the code writer. I am the janitor and everything else. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? It means very little or no overhead and a lot lower price to you but more importantly it means that I'm easier to contact because I'm the only one you ever talk to. There is nothing lost to interpretation when a salesman tells another staff member who then tells a code writer who then asks the manager who says "that cannot be done" and nothing is lost or misinterpreted because it went through so many people. When you call, I answer the phone and respond to your inquiries. When you email us, I answer the e-mail and I am the one who answers your questions. My responses are quick and reliable. There is never any time when you will need to wait for 2 or 3 weeks for a return phone call from a salesman who either cannot answer your questions or will likely not know the correct answers or worse yet, make up what he thinks the answers might be. But the best part of all is that when you contact me for changes to your website there are no almost never additional charges for the work you request. If your work requests are substantial there may be additional charges but in those rare occasions I will always give you an EXACT price quote on the spot and that will always be the total cost. Over 90% of the change requests I get are accomplished at no additional cost to the customer.
